Almost impossible to find hidden behind three stands of the open market of San Lorenzo, it's worth the search. The menu's always the same and always good. The tomato sauce here is one of my favorite's. The roast pork, arista, is flavored with rosemary, hunks of garlic and salt, served with it's pan drippings...tuscan soul food, order the white beans and soak up the juices with your unsalted tuscan bread. They've got a light chianti as their house wine.

The gnocchi with gorgonzola is wonderful! The tiramasu on the weekends is great also.
Fixed price for meal at Contadino was 13 Euros December 2007 but the food was still excellent. Best fettucini with pesto we ever tasted!
